Martin D-28 (2017) – The Reimagined Legendary Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
Martin D-28 has a long history praised as one of the iconic dreadnought-style acoustic guitars in the world and in 2017 the upgraded version of this legendary guitar was born. Favored by many professional guitar players and often situated as a benchmark of acoustic guitars comparison, the 2017 version has some significant changes from its predecessor: forward-shifted X-bracing, a revised neck pattern termed High-Performance Taper with Modified Low Oval profile with 1-3/4” ebony fretboard width at the bone nut, 2-1/8” at the 12th fret. Latest innovations are also added to this Vintage-looking guitar such as open-gear tuners, an aged toner top, antique white accents, and a faux tortoise pattern pickguard.
