Yamaha CK61 is the epitome of a fantastic combination where it took the best of the CP Stage Piano and YC Stage Keyboard, and combines them to produce the next level of ultimate stage performance in the CK series sounds.
The CP Series is well-known for its amazing piano and synthesizer sound performance with also comes with weighted keys. The CK61 is inheriting these great sounds with a bit of adjustment in the keys that are more suitable for a stage performance. The FSB action keynotes on the CK are semi-weighted type so that a piano player will still feel the “actual” resistance of weighted keys while the keyboard player who is used to a lighted touch won’t be too difficult to adapt.
The YC series is an organ and synth-focused keyboard which can easily be noticed on the CK61 from the Drawbar, Knobs, and Faders that are iconic to the said series. These features allow you to customize the sound in real-time whether adding a filter, envelope, or any other effects, and the best part of it you can save them as a Live Set.
Another interesting feature is the built-in speakers because normally, a stage piano or keyboard won’t have them and the pair of 6-watt speakers can be turned ON and OFF easily.
