Vox AC30S1 – The Legendary British Tone in a Compact Combo Amp

Vox AC30S1 is inspired by the legendary AC30 custom valve guitar amplifier with its 50 years of tube amp-building expertise but now it comes in a more compact design.

The iconic Top Boost circuit; favored by famous musicians such as The Edge, Brian May, Tom Petty, John Scofield, and Dave Grohl; along with two 12AX7 pre-amp tubes and four EL84 power-amp tubes are making a comeback on AC30S1 where you will be playing with the jangly British all-tube tone which is often heard from some of rock’s most well-known riffs.

Even though it only has a single channel some essential features are loaded in for example the built-in studio-quality digital reverb and effects loop which will make your sound and playing experience more expressive and rich.

Inside the cabinet, you will find the masterpiece of a 12″ Celestion-made speaker that delivers the characteristic of the AC30 chimey cleans to smooth overdrive tone perfectly. Additionally, it’s a Vox robust design which means roadshow-ready whenever you like to play it.
