Alesis Nitro Max – Raising the Bar of E-Drumming Experience

Alesis just recently unveiled their latest iteration of the Nitro electronic drums series which targets players who are ready to advance their skill to a new level, please welcome Alesis Nitro Max.

Entry-level e-drums commonly only have 5-piece kits in total but Nitro Max has raised the bar for both beginner and more advanced players with 8-piece kits including a Snare, three Toms, two Cymbals, a Hi-hat, and a Kick Drum. If you are familiar with Alesis Nitro Mesh, then think of Alesis Nitro Max as an upgraded version of it with the latest technology.

Nitro Max comes with highly responsive premium mesh drumhead technology and is fully adjustable which is applied to their 10” dual-zone snare, and three 8” single-zone tom pads. The cymbals include the choke feature allowing you to play it much like an actual acoustic cymbal feel. The kick tower and kick pedal make the kit complete because most entry-level e-drums don’t include this part.

The sound source comes from the Nitro Max drum module with over 400 percussion sounds from the acclaimed BFD drum library including 32 ready-to-play BFD, classic and modern kits. For practice purposes, 60 built-in play-along tracks are available for you to jam with. Additionally, the seamless Bluetooth features allow you to stream your favorite music so you can jam along.

Additionally, one of its main traits is the ability to be folded easily, in short, it’s a foldable electronic drum type where you can store and pack it easily whenever you want.

How to fold the Alesis Nitro Max Kit?

One of the main advantages of Alesis Nitro Max Kits is the foldability. To fold your Alesis Nitro Max for storage, start by disconnecting all cables, loosening the rack connections, and folding the bars inward toward the centre. You can also fold in or remove the module and pads to save even more space.

Step-by-step guide to fold the Alesis Nitro Max Kit:

1. Disconnect all cables – Unplug every cable connecting the pads, drum module, and any accessories.
2. Loosen the rack – Find the wing nuts or fasteners connecting the horizontal bars to the centre posts and loosen them.
3. Fold the horizontal bars – Starting with the top bar, gently fold each horizontal bar inward toward the centre of the rack, then do the same with the lower bar.
4. Fold in the module and pads (optional) – For a smaller footprint, fold or detach the drum module and other pads.
5. Remove pads for compact storage (optional) – For maximum space saving and to avoid scratches, remove the pads and wrap them individually.
6. Store the kit – Once folded, store the kit in a closet or any designated storage area.
