The mesh heads e-drums category has been one of Alesis’ signatures started from its Nitro series. Continuing its popularity, the Crimson Kit series; with the latest model, the Crimson 2 SE; is here to provide you with an authentic drumming experience.
Alesis Crimson 2 SE is the next-gen of the acclaimed Alesis Crimson Kit model that gained a good amount of popularity due to its playing experience on the feel and natural responses. The difference between Alesis Crimson II SE and Crimson II is in the Mesh Heads color and feel, the one in Crimson II SE is similar with the Strike Pro series.
Alesis Crimson 2 SE features a total of 12 pieces of hardware including the dual-zone mesh pads, cymbals, stands, and sound module. To break it down you will get to play with a 12-inch Mesh Snare Pad (with stand), a pair of 8-inch Mesh Tom Pads, a 10-inch Mesh Tom Pad, a pair of 12-inch Crash Cymbals with Choke, a 14-inch Cymbal with a triple-zone ride, a 12-inch Hi-Hat (with pedal), and an 8-inch Mesh Kick Pad. These are the configuration of the standard kit for a professional drummer.
Each snare, tom, and kick pad resemble the slim version of acoustic kits where you get to experience the natural feel and expressions as you hit the mesh head soft or hard. A red crimson is the main finish for the kit’s body.
In the sound department, the Crimson II Drum Module highlights 74 high-quality drum kits with over 671 instrument sounds and 120 play-along songs. Much like the previous model, this sound model is also equipped with a real-time recording feature and a USB-MIDI for track recording in the computer’s DAW. Additionally, it supports sound expansion via its USB port in WAV format.
The rack mounting is also noteworthy with a premium quick lock chrome 4-post rack ensuring all of the kits are steady no matter how hard you play.
