Yamaha ARIUS has been widely known as one of the best home digital piano series specifically designed with a minimalistic concept and authentic acoustic piano playing experience, the Yamaha YDP-105 brings the ARIUS experience at an accessible price point.
At first glance, the YDP-105 will remind you of the striking looks of a traditional upright piano with an all-wood cabinet including the tripedal function (Half Damper enabled). The piano comes in two stunning colors Black and Dark Rosewood.
The Yamaha YDP-105 boasts Yamaha’s Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted action which is able to replicate the natural weighting and response of an acoustic piano. This type of keyboard gradually feels heavier as you press the keys starting from the highest to the lowest notes.
Choose from ten high-quality instrument voices produced by Yamaha’s AWM Stereo Sampling sound engine from Acoustic Piano to Electric Piano, Strings, and more. The AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) uses a pair of microphones (Left and Right) when capturing the sound waveform of an instrument resulting in a deeper, richer, and more spacious soundstage.
For learning purposes, you can simply connect your smart device to the piano via a USB port and download Yamaha’s free Smart Pianist app – to call up a range of scores for you to practice.
