Having a perfect machine to support the on-stage performance without breaking the bank is every gigging keyboardist’s dream, Roland understands this and introduces their state-of-the-art professional synthesizer keyboard at an affordable price the Roland XPS-10.
Designed specifically for stage and studio performance, Roland XPS-10 is supported by plenty of professional-level features. Starting from the “machine” that is supported by the iconic Juno-Di pro-sounds with over 1500 tones from acoustic, electric pianos, organs, strings, brass, synths, and ethnic instruments from around the world. You will also be playing with the legendary sounds of Roland D-50, XP-60/-30/-10, and SRX Expansion Boards.
The Expandable feature means you can import your personalized sounds created in a DAW in an audio WAV format via USB and it will be easily mapped by the keyboard system. Furthermore, the mapped audio can also be enhanced by adding built-in effects (three MFX) and then using them in Patch or Performance modes, as simple as preset sounds.
The six Audio Pads act as a trigger that allows you to assign each pad with your customized sound which can be from external (via USB), preset sounds, built-in rhythms, or even sound effects. With the Loop points, the sounds will be automatically triggered based on your desired tempo.
With the live performance as the core design, the interface is very easy to navigate and practical. You will be often playing around with the 8 Sound Modify sliders which give you real-time access to cutoff, resonance, attack, and release, making it easy to customize your tone. Keyboard Layer and Split functions are also available and with the help of the Sound Modify sliders becomes easier to adjust the volume level of each layer.
Portability is another winning factor for Roland XPS-10. The keyboard is only weighed 4 kg and with only 1002mm in width, it can easily be tucked everywhere in your room. Not to mention with the price tag under 1000 SGD, you are getting a great bargain for a professional-level synthesizer keyboard.
