Roland Juno-X – Programmable Polyphonic Synthesizer Keyboard
The Juno series has been around for more than two decades boosting the unique polyphonic synthesizer sound characteristic, and the new Roland Juno-X is here to continue the legacy by combining authentic vintage core with modern innovative power.
At the first glance, you will notice that the Roland Juno-X design resembles closely to the vintage model Juno-106 with a bit of Juno-60 aesthetics touch.
Not only in the looks but also in the sound department where the Zen-Core sound engine elevates the two vintage models’ tones along with the XV-5080 and RD pianos’ sounds. Frankly speaking, you can explore all of Juno’s iconic synth sounds from every era including the renowned RD’s pianos in one keyboard. The Zen-Core sound engine is an expandable type so you can easily expand the bank sounds of Jupiter-8, JD-800, SH-101, and other classics into the Juno-X.
61 semi-weighted keynote type is featured on Juno-X where it is also supported by 256 notes of polyphony making you play the piano tones as comfortable as playing the synth sounds.
On the effect control board for the LFO, HPF, filter, and envelope parameters, any synth-enthusiasts will be overjoyed with the traditional sliders, knobs, and buttons (with backlight) making your sound customization a lot easier on a real-time based.
For an extra synth exploration, play around with the Vocoder Model via its built-in Mic input mixed with your preferred synthesizer sound for an out-of-the-box tone generation.
