Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 is essentially a keytar MIDI controller with 37 synth-action keys and USB wireless features for ultra portability during your performance.
The keytar comes with 37 velocity-sensitive keynotes with synth-action type much like the same feel in a standard synthesizer keyboard. Then on the control board, you will get to play with 8 assignable drum pads and faders with the “much-needed” RGB lights to light up the show. Also, don’t forget to play around in the neck area, especially, the assignable touch strip and MIDI-assignable accelerometer – these two features will give you complete and easy control of the MIDI adjustment using only your left hand.
As a MIDI controller, this keytar has to be connected via USB Cable or USB Wireless Dongle to a sound source that could be to a Laptop or another keyboard that has a USB feature. Rest assured because Alesis come prepared with an abundance of premium virtual instrument plugins including Hybrid 3, Loom 2, Vacuum Pro, and Xpand!2 from AIR Music Tech, and TimewARP 2600 by Way Out Ware that you can install on your Laptop.
