At its core is Roland’s Piano Reality Sound Engine, delivering rich, detailed piano tones with natural resonance, decay and tonal depth. A newly developed speaker system complements the sound engine with clear highs and powerful lows, creating an immersive playing experience whether you are practising or performing.

The PHA-4 Standard keyboard provides a realistic acoustic-piano feel with fully weighted hammer action, escapement and Ivory Feel keys. Its triple-sensor system enables fast, accurate note repetition, giving you the responsiveness needed for expressive playing and advanced techniques.

Learning is also made more engaging with Piano Sphere, Roland’s companion app developed with Skoove. Enjoy real-time feedback, personalised lessons and 100 free licensed songs to help make daily practice more enjoyable. Players can also access more than 1,000 additional songs with the optional upgrade.

For modern musicians, the FP-40 offers built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Audio/MIDI and USB-C connectivity for seamless integration with smart devices, recording and music apps. Headset microphone compatibility also makes it suitable for online lessons, livestreaming and content creation.
