Roland E-X50 is the newest family member of the E-X portable arranger keyboard series that comes with some advanced features from the previous models – E-X20 & E-X30 – highlighting the easy-to-use entertainment system.
Following the previous model, Roland E-X50 also features the 61-key with velocity-sensitive but with an additional adjustable 3 types of touch responses making it easier for beginners to get used to the keyboard.
The E-X series piano sounds are known as one of the best in the keyboard category due to their resemblance to Roland’s professional digital piano sound. In the E-X50, the sound department getting an update with almost 700 high-quality instrument sounds including acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, orchestral, and drum kits. These sounds are supported with the 256 notes of polyphony ensuring all of the notes can be heard.
The entertainment part is the main highlight of the E-X50 where you will get to play with an advanced auto-accompaniment system that focuses on the left-hand fingering/chord and is backed with 300 music styles from various music genres. Another great thing about the E-X30 entertainment system is you can easily arrange your own music with the Style Converter software for macOS and Windows (connect via USB type-B) and add some “spices” with some built-in effects such as equalizer, reverb, and chorus make it unique and lively.
The seamless Bluetooth connection is the E-X50 feature that set the level apart from the previous versions E-X20 and E-X30. It allows the E-X50 to connect with smart devices (a smartphone or laptop) for music streaming purposes and doing practice sessions via a dedicated app.
Portability has always been one of the reasons why the E-X keyboard series is very popular among aspiring musicians. In the E-X50, the speakers are getting an upgrade with a pair of 12 cm woofers and a pair of 3 cm tweeters ensuring your audience will hear high-definition sounds from the keyboard. Additionally, the Headphones output is included for a silent practice session.

Really good keyboard. Roland sound quality is superb. As an arranger keyboard, there are some nice features, and the accompaniment are very good for live presentations. I just missed the knobs for live timbers changing like wise there are in other branded of same category. But overall it is a really good keyboard for its purpose, and cost effective. I just received, then I’m still discovering it’s features. about sales assistance and delivery, the TMW surprised me by delivering as promised. Even with the CNY limitations,they put a best effort to deliver it as soon as possible and kept contact at each step. Surely I will purchase more from this store.
