About The Music Works

The Music Works (TMW) is a trusted music retailer and workshop dedicated to serving music enthusiasts and learners seeking high-quality musical instruments in Singapore.

Founded in 2012 as Absolute Piano, our journey began with a focus on digital pianos and keyboards. Over time, we expanded our offerings and expertise to become a comprehensive music school and instrument store. Today, TMW provides a wide range of musical instruments, including drums, ukuleles, and acoustic and electric guitars, supporting classical, pop, and jazz genres. In 2016, we officially rebranded as The Music Works, reflecting our broader vision and growing community.

At TMW Music School, we believe that everyone—children and adults alike—has a natural connection to music. Our mission is to help turn that passion into a practical skill. Our friendly and experienced instructors deliver carefully designed curricula tailored to different ages, skill levels, and musical goals, empowering students to learn, grow, and excel with confidence.

As a company, The Music Works is proud to be an authorised local dealer for four of the world’s leading musical instrument brands in Singapore: Casio, Yamaha, Roland, and KORG.

We currently operate two physical locations at Joo Seng (Showroom) and Chai Chee (Music School/Showroom). In addition, we run multiple online storefronts across major eCommerce platforms, including the TMW Online Store, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Our strong customer reviews and testimonials across these platforms reflect our ongoing commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
