TMW Drum School provides comprehensive drum lessons for beginners of all ages in Singapore with experienced and friendly drum tutors.
TMW drum lessons can help you make your dream of becoming the star of your own show, as you solo drum on the stage and astonish your audience, with our comprehensive drum classes curriculum. Our drum lessons not only focus on the drums inside out but also bring fun and excitement to you as the lesson is ongoing.
Our drum tutors are professional musicians in Singapore with years of experience in teaching beginners to master the art of drumming and nurturing them to become professionals as well.
We have two category classes: 1-to-1 and group lessons. In each class, not only are they learning the drumming techniques, but also soft skills such as self-confidence, stage presence, mental focus, and more to support them to be professional drummers.
To make it easier for you to adapt to our drum classes curriculum, we are offering a trial class, so you will understand first-hand how the lesson will work for you.
Drum Courses Selection
For Children
Our basic drum lesson is designed for kids starting from the age of 4 up to 12 years old with experienced and friendly drum tutors that will nurture their raw talent in drums.
The curriculum will be focused on fundamental techniques and knowledge such as a basic understanding of the drum parts, hand & feet coordination, reading musical notes for drums, rhythm, beat concepts, and many more.

For Adults
Adults who are longing to fulfill their dream of becoming professional drummers and playing in a band on the stage must join our basic drum lessons.
In this class besides receiving the fundamental drumming techniques and skills, you will also learn how the journey and experience of a professional drummer in Singapore from an actual musician. So you will get a better idea of how the music industry works in Singapore should you pursue this career path professionally.

Jackson Lee
Piano, Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele
Teacher Jackson is an experienced multi-instrumentalist with close to 10 years of teaching expertise, dedicated to nurturing students of all ages and skill levels. His students have consistently achieved a 100% high pass rate in ABRSM and Trinity practical and theory examinations.
He specialises in Classical Piano, Drums, and Praise & Worship piano workshops, while also offering lessons in guitar and ukulele. Known for his adaptable and student-centred approach, Jackson customises each lesson to inspire confidence, musical growth, and long-term enjoyment in learning music.
Education Background:
- ATCL Diploma in Piano (Trinity College London)
- ABRSM Grade 8, both practical & music theory
- Certificate in Piano Pedagogy
- Rockschool certificate in Pop Music performance (Drums, Guitar, Ukulele)
Izzu Hazlami
Pop/Modern Piano, Keyboard, Drums
Teacher Izzu is a skilled multi-instrumentalist with a Diploma in Music (Double Bass) and over 5 years of live performance experience. He teaches keyboard, contemporary piano, and drums, making lessons approachable and enjoyable for both children and adults. Known for his friendly and adaptable style, he helps students build confidence while developing solid skills in rhythm, harmony, and performance.

- Diploma in Music (Specialising in Double Bass)
- 5 Years of Live Performance Experience
- Training in Contemporary Music and Rhythm Section Performance
Neil John
Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele, Drums
Teacher Neil is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of teaching experience and 25 years as a performing musician. He teaches acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums, and has maintained a 100% student passing rate in Rockschool and Trinity Rock & Pop examinations.
He works with both children and adults in group and one-to-one settings, tailoring lessons to suit different goals and learning styles. As a band trainer and arranger, Neil also helps students gain ensemble experience, balancing fun and discipline to build both confidence and strong musical foundations.
