Yamaha MODX6+ – Powerful and Portable Synthesizer

The Yamaha MODX6+ combines powerful synthesis, expressive performance controls and professional connectivity in a lightweight 61-key instrument. Designed for both stage and studio use, it gives musicians a versatile platform for creating, shaping and performing a wide range of sounds.

Its AWM2 sound engine provides detailed sample-based instruments, while the FM-X engine delivers dynamic FM synthesis for everything from classic electronic tones to modern, evolving textures. Yamaha’s Motion Control system brings both engines together, allowing you to manipulate sounds in real time for more expressive performances.

The Super Knob provides intuitive control over multiple parameters with a single movement, while Motion Sequences add rhythmic changes to synthesiser parameters. The Envelope Follower can also use internal or external audio to control synth parameters, offering further creative possibilities.

With 1GB of internal flash memory, studio-quality VCM effects and a 4-in/10-out USB audio interface, the MODX6+ is well equipped for sound design, music production and live performance.
