Ideally, a foldable piano is best suited for beginners who just started to learn the instrument but have a busy schedule and not much space in their room. That’s when the Blackstar Carry-On 88 foldable keyboard piano comes in.
Blackstar Carry-On Folding Piano 88 is essentially a compact 88-key portable keyboard piano complete with built-in speakers and auto-accompaniment features but with an additional foldability function.
The 88-key model comes in two variants with touch-sensitive and non-touch-sensitive keys. The without velocity sensitivity variant means each note will be the same volume regardless of how hard or soft you press the keys, while the with sensitivity keys variant there will be a sound level difference based on how you pressed them.
A total of 128 instrument sounds are ready for you to play with including pianos, organs, strings, percussions, and more. Combine the sound with the Auto-Accompaniment feature; with a total of 128 styles of any genre; to start playing the music of your own.
The Micro-USB port is not only for a charging or power supply feature but also works as a MIDI over USB to connect it to your DAW in your PC. Making this foldable piano a MIDI keyboard controller for recording. The portability feature also highlights the stereo built-in speakers located in the right corner of the keyboard.
