Yamaha MODX8+ – Powerful Synthesizer for Creative Performance

The Yamaha MODX8+ combines professional sound, expressive playability and advanced synthesis in a portable 88-key workstation. Featuring Yamaha’s GHS weighted-action keyboard, it provides a natural playing feel with dynamic response, making it suitable for both pianists and synthesists.

At the heart of the MODX8+ are two powerful sound engines: AWM2 sample-based synthesis for acoustic instruments, pianos and other detailed sounds, and FM-X 8-operator synthesis for dynamic modern and classic FM tones. Its Motion Control system adds another dimension to sound design, with the Super Knob allowing you to control multiple parameters simultaneously and Motion Sequences creating evolving changes in real time.

The MODX8+ also integrates easily with computer-based production through its USB audio/MIDI interface, providing 4-in/10-out USB audio connectivity. With 1GB of internal flash memory, Live Sets for organising Performances, Rhythm Patterns and comprehensive DAW connectivity, it is equally suited to live performance, studio production and sound design.
