The Indian music genre has been a fascinating industry in Singapore with a variety of unique instrument sounds, there’s only one way for Yamaha to deliver them to perfection by launching a keyboard that is specifically designed with Indian music in mind, please welcome Yamaha PSR-i400.
Basically, Yamaha PSR-i400 is an arranger type of keyboard where you can play with so many instrument sounds (a total of 764 tones) and auto-accompaniment (a total of 218 styles) thanks to the AWM Stereo Sampling engine with additional Indian unique instrument sounds (30 sounds), songs (15 Raga scale songs), and rhythms (35 styles).
Regarding Indian music learning, PSR-i400 is also equipped with several ethnic functions such as onboard Tabla / Mridanga, and Tanpura functions named “Riyaz”, where you can easily learn the Indian traditional “Raga” scale straight away while playing the keyboard.
Playing the PSR-i400 is very comfortable for everyone kids included because the 61 keynote type is an organ style where it can be easily adjusted according to your preference up to 4 levels (Soft, Medium, Hard, Fixed). Another convenient feature while playing accompaniment mode is the One Touch Setting with 50 Indian music databases.
When you have advanced from the learning session to recording mode, Yamaha PSR-i400 provides you with up 10 songs to record and 6 tracks to use, which is also supported by a pair of 12 cm built-in speakers to deliver high-definition sounds. Not to mention the portability of the keyboard only weighing 6.8kg and being able to operate using only 6 AA-type batteries are a plus.
