Backed with a tunable mesh head 8″ PDX-8 snare with independent head/rim zones and three 6″ PDX-6A (also tunable) toms with single-zone for expressive ride play and choke, these kits deliver an acoustic-like playing experience on a V-Drums.
The TD-07 module is at the center of the sound department of Roland TD-07KV that boasts 25 Roland’s high-end kits, and 143 instrument sounds from various music genres inspired by the flagship TD-50 module. Easy and powerful sound customization is also one of the highlights of the TD-07 module because you will be able to tweak your preferred sound/kit with 30 selectable effects, pad EQs, and an overhead mic simulator.
Another point plus in the acoustic-like feel is the TD-07KV has left the iconic V-shaped setup and focused on the standard 4-post standard drum rack stand of the acoustic drum set up with a tower-style KD-10 kick pad that represents the bass drum.
Much like other versions of the TD sound module, the TD-07 is also equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 transceiver that makes it easier for you to stream songs and MIDI seamlessly. Additionally, a USB type-B port is available that connects the drums with your DAW’s virtual instruments in the laptop.
