The Akai MPK Mini IV packs professional music production and performance controls into a compact 25-key MIDI controller. Featuring an upgraded keybed, MPC pads, mechanical pitch and mod wheels, colour display, enhanced arpeggiator and versatile DAW integration, it is ideal for producers, songwriters and performers who want powerful creative tools without taking up valuable desk space.

The third-generation keybed features 25 velocity-sensitive mini keys with a 10-octave range through octave controls, delivering improved response and expression for melodies, chords and basslines. Eight RGB-backlit MPC pads offer velocity and pressure sensitivity across two banks, while eight assignable 360° knobs provide hands-on control over effects, instruments and plugin parameters.

Unlike many compact MIDI controllers, the MPK Mini IV features genuine mechanical pitch and mod wheels for precise, tactile expression. A full-colour display and push/turn encoder make it easy to browse presets and adjust settings without interrupting your workflow.

The enhanced arpeggiator includes Pattern, Arp Freeze and Mutate functions to inspire new musical ideas, while Scale and Chord Modes make it easier to create melodies, harmonies and progressions. Play, stop and record controls, along with pre-mapped integration for popular DAWs such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro and FL Studio, further streamline music production.

Connectivity includes USB-C for computer connection, 5-pin MIDI output for external hardware and a sustain pedal input. The bundled Studio Instrument Collection also provides over 1,000 sounds from AIR, Akai Pro and Moog, giving you everything you need to start creating music straight away.
