The Korg RK-100S-2 is a versatile 37-key keytar synthesizer designed for keyboardists who want greater freedom and expression on stage. Combining a distinctive wood body, powerful synth sounds, and intuitive performance controls, it brings the excitement of a classic keytar into a modern instrument that is easy to use during live performances.
Featuring 37 velocity-sensitive mini keys, the RK-100S-2 provides a more expressive playing experience while keeping the instrument lightweight and comfortable to handle. Unlike a traditional MIDI controller, it features Korg’s MMT (Multiple Modelling Technology) sound engine, allowing you to play its built-in sounds directly without requiring an external sound module or keyboard.
The RK-100S-2 offers 200 preset sounds that can be customised using the RK-100S-2 Sound Editor. Its two ribbon controllers provide additional control over filters, pitch, vibrato, and other sound parameters, giving performers plenty of creative possibilities on stage. The MIC/AUDIO input also supports Korg’s built-in vocoder, allowing you to add distinctive vocal effects to your performance.
Designed with live musicians in mind, the RK-100S-2 features eight easily accessible preset buttons that can be assigned to your favourite sounds for quick changes during a performance. With battery-powered operation providing approximately eight hours of use, this Korg keytar synthesizer offers the portability and flexibility needed for gigging keyboardists.
