Korg RK-100S-2 is the latest model of their long line of keytar which answered all of those requirements with its amazing features, plus a budget-friendly gear to have.

Just like its predecessor; the vintage Korg RK-100; the RK-100S-2 also comes in 37 mini keys but with an upgrade in the velocity-sensitive department, so now keyboardists can be more expressive when playing every note. While the vintage RK-100 can only work as a MIDI Master Controller, the RK-100S-2 can do both worlds simultaneously. Equipped with the MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology) sound engine which is similar to the one in the microKorg XL, RK-100S-2 boasts over 150 high-quality preset sounds and the famous Korg Vocoder which can easily be activated paired with any microphone via its MIC/AUDIO input.

In terms of freedom of sound expression, the two ribbon controllers will support you to deliver much more fun and creative synth sounds with additional filter sweeps and vibrato effects that of course, can be easily customized. Also, the RK-100S-2 Sound Editor will help you to edit, combine or even generate your authentic sound and assign it to the gear for a live performance.

Built with a keyboardist point of view in mind where during a stage performance everything needs to be simple and easy to access. That’s why the 8 preset buttons on RK-100S-2 can be easily assigned to your most-used preset or customized sounds.
