Alesis CompactKit 4 Portable Tabletop highlights the four customizable velocity-sensitive pads which at a first glance resemble a snare, two toms, and a floor. The inverted V-shaped arrangement makes it look like the actual positioning of an acoustic drum kit, which every drummer is familiar with.

Up to 70 percussion sounds are ready to be assigned on each pad, for example, you can assign 1 kick drum sound, 1 snare sound, 1 tom sound, and 1 cymbal sound, then you are ready to go to practice on a Tabletop drum. The velocity-sensitive feature on its pad gives a more realistic feel on every hit whether it’s a powerful hit or a regular one.

The easy-to-use control system in the center of the console including the Coach feature where you can select one of the 50 songs to play along and the LCD screen will instruct the player to hit the correct pad.
