When Yamaha unveiled its first P digital piano series in 1994, they were warmly welcomed by many, especially beginners. With the new generation of Yamaha P-45; which was launched in 2015; beginners are still pleased by its amazing authentic grand piano playing experience with additional advanced features.
Yamaha P-45 is the ultimate choice of a portable digital piano for beginners, why? Because not only does it highlight a piano-focused experience (i.e Graded Hammer Action keyboard) but it is also a budget-friendly instrument, among the lowest in its class.
Your piano fingers will be in love with its 88-key Graded Hammer keynotes, much like the actual concert grand piano you will feel the weight difference on the keys between the upper register (lighter) and continuously heavier to the lower register, hence the name Graded Hammer.
A total of 10 piano-focused sounds are available for you to play with thanks to Yamaha’s signature AWM Stereo Sampling sound engine they are acoustic piano, electric piano, organs, harpsichord, vibraphone, and many more. Additionally, plug in the included sustain pedal for a more excellent piano play with the sustaining tone.
Another notable feature of the P Series is its portability. Yamaha P-45 is lightweight and compact which also includes a pair of 12W built-in speaker systems so you can just plug the instrument to power and start playing.
For a practice or piano student feature, Yamaha P-45 highlights its Duo Mode where you can split the keyboard in half but each half is in the same register. So you can exactly follow the teacher’s instructions on your part.
