Yamaha Montage 8 is possibly the complete synthesizer keyboard in all of Yamaha’s legacy which was built based on the groundbreaking DX and Motif series with some additional new features such as the iconic programmable Motion Control matrix that provide you with the access to control two robust synthesis engines.
Yamaha Montage 8 comes with full-size 88 keynotes with a balanced hammer action that is mostly found in a premium digital piano allowing you to play the acoustic piano sounds more expressively.
The two sound engines – AWM2 and FM-X Synthesis Engines – are the main reason this keyboard produces high-quality tones favored by songwriters, gigging keyboardists, sound designers, or EDM producers. To make it easier for the user to control both engines simultaneously, Yamaha provides the Motion Control Synthesis Engine where the user can easily control, unify, and customize the tones from those two engines.
