Encore on Keys
Encore on Keys is a series of music courses after the students advanced from the Kinder Beat program (or 5+ years old) that focus on developing the kids’ and teenagers’ talents in music through learning to play the piano, percussions, engaging in gestures, and many more exciting activities.
The award-winning Encore on Keys program is established by the Australian music program – Encore Music Education – which focused on nurturing young talents’ playing, improvising, harmonizing, listening, understanding, and reading to become talented musicians.

Junior Piano (5-7 Years Old)
Junior Piano is the first installment of the Encore on Keys program which is the continuation of the Piano Prep program from the Kinder Beat courses. In this group class, the kids will learn in-depth about playing the keyboard piano instrument as well as developing their musical sense. The key elements of this program are:
- Finger Zips – develop fundamental keyboard skill
- Backing Tracks – develop arrangements skill
- Pattern Learning – develop efficient musical sense
- Rhythm Development – develop the rhythm sense
- Keyboard Harmony – learn standard chord progressions
- Ensemble Playing – group interaction and team playing
- By-Ear Playing – develop the aural perception
- Extension Activities – develop creativity

Primary Piano (8-12 Years Old)
This second installment specifically designed for kids to teenagers of 8-12 years old is focused on learning the keyboard piano instrument with the ‘Five-Finger’ approach. In the Five Finger system, the students will learn right and left hands coordination so they can develop a strong rhythmic and harmonic foundation. The key elements of this program are:
- Rhythm Taps – two-handed coordination
- Finger Taps – finger numbers coordination
- Flash Cards – develop reading skills
- Keyboard Harmony – develop chord progressions
- Ensemble Playing – develop team playing
- Solfa Singing – develop melodic patterns
- Repertoire Pieces – solo performance pieces
- Extension Activities – develop creativity

Accent Piano (Teenagers 12+ Years Old)
The accent piano is the third installment of the Encore on Keys program which is prepared for students in their teenage age (teenagers) because in this age range they can handle a more complex curriculum. The whole-pattern learning approach is still the main focus with additional technical skills in keyboard playing. The key elements of this program are:
- Backing Tracks – develop arrangements skill
- Finger Zips – develop fundamental keyboard skill
- Rhythm Taps – two-handed coordination
- Whole Pattern Learning – develop efficient musical sense
- Keyboard Harmony – chord progressions, transposing, and improvisation
- By-Ear Playing – develop the aural perception
